I have posted many updates about the things that have been happening here in our home with our 13-year-old daughter. We have seen shadow figures, full apparitions, orbs, and light energies, we have seen fan light chains pulled, and lights go off and on, as well as felt the chill and touch of something in the hallways and stairway of our home. We have had to burn books, burn sage, chalk each other, and pray with each other to keep us safe from evil entities. It all seems to center around our daughter.
Tonight, I saw a program that I just caught the tail end of a few times before. It was called Psychic Kids, and it was actually a pretty good show, other than the fact that it seems to focus on being scared. The mothers are always very clingy and protective, and it seems like they make the situation way worse than it has to be.
I know that I go down and sit with Sera, but I don’t feed into the fear. I try to sit with her and understand what is going on, and then talk to her about why it might be happening. We have tried to talk to them to find out what it is that they want, and we have tried to tell them to go away when we need rest. For the most part, I think that she has become less afraid, but more frustrated because they don’t seem to want to leave us alone.
A friend of mine suggested that we contact these people, after she read some of our posts. I have thought about it, and maybe it would be a good experience for her to meet other kids that are going through similar things. I know that I would have been happy to meet other kids with my abilities when I was growing up. I had to live and learn through it all alone, my parents did not talk about these things growing up, even though they both experienced similar things. It wasn’t until I was an adult that I found out about it. I guess she is lucky to at least have me.
Tonight is the night of the very first full moon of the year, it is also known as Wolf Moon. On this night the moon will be it’s biggest and brightest of any other full moon of the year. Go ahead, take a look, it is very bright and beautiful tonight!
I wanted to give everyone an update on the activity in our home, that has been occurring since about the middle of August of 2009. We live in New Braunfels, Texas at the moment, with four of our five children. Our oldest daughter is 13, and she seems to be the conduit that attracts these spirits to our home. They are generally seen in or around the stairway, and are seen as shadow figures, orbs, bright figures, and now we are seeing actual full apparitions.
Since August, my husband and I moved into the bedrooms upstairs, and all of the kids sleep together in the master bedroom downstairs. This way they are as far away from the stairway as possible. Anyway, after we put the kids to bed last night my daughter called me down to the bedroom because she was hearing footsteps in the attic. Then she said she was also hearing voices, but she could not make out what they were saying. I stayed with her in the bedroom for a while and then she began to get frustrated because she does not know why they won’t just leave her alone. She said that all she wants to do is to be able to sleep. I feel so bad for her. We sat there and listened with her, but she said that they soon stopped. I decided to just let her come up stairs and sleep with me, so that the both of us could get some sleep.
Well, she seemed to fall asleep pretty quickly, but I stayed awake for a bit, because I was feeling like something followed us up stairs. I was trying to get comfortable when I heard footsteps and something in the attic. I turned to the sound and heard it a couple more times, and then it settled down. I didn’t tell my daughter this, but earlier before I went down to her bedroom, I was lying in the bed trying to get comfortable when I felt something grab my exposed leg, and it happened just as she called me down.
We really are not afraid of these spirits anymore, we have gotten quite used to them. The only problem is that they do not let us rest. A good nights seep would be wonderful. We will be moving soon, and I know that it will not solve our problem, but I am going to do my best to make these spirits stay right here in this house.
When I was a little girl, my family and I went to the Calico Ghost Town, on more than one occasion. I think my dad liked to walk with the ghosts…lol. It was fun, and I remember running around and touring the area. Calico Ghost Town was founded in 1881, and isan old silver mining town, located about 10 miles north of Barstow, California. The town was purchased by Walter Knott, the owner of Knotts Berry Farm, in 1950. He later dedicated the town to the city of San Bernardino, and it is now a County Regional Park.
They used to have a 90 minute guided ghost tour through the town, but I am not sure if they still have one or not. It has been at least 25 years since I have been there. They used to have them on Friday and Saturday nights, and they were taken after it got dark. There have been reported sightings of apparitions and shadow people during tours and not. I don’t really remember any events or encounters during the time that I was there, but I do remember the “feeling”, you know that one that you get when there is an energy trying to drain your own….lol.
Calico is a pretty neat little town, if you are ever close by, it is kind of a fun place to visit. There have been reports of voices, as well as scents and sounds of a horse in the that used to be where the stage coach stopped. Wow, a ghost horse…..haven’t heard of that one yet.
Since I have started writing about my paranormal experiences, and since my awareness has seemed to increase, I have been wanting to go back to all of those places that I visited as a child. It would be fun to revisit those places that claimed to have been haunted. Calico would be a very fun place to take my own kids, and see what kind of experiences we can have. I plan on going back to the West Coast some time in the near future and will be making an effort to visit these places so that I can write about my own experiences. Here is a collection of supposed, real footage of apparitions, poltergeists, and ghosts. I don’t know that any of them are real, as I have no proof but the videos themselves, but some of them have me wondering. I found this on YouTube, and I thought it was pretty interesting. Ghosts can be found in many places, including your very own home. It doesn’t matter how old your home is, either. I have had most of my own encounters in the homes that I lived in and they were no more than 30 years old. The older a building or place is, the longer it has had time to have events and history imprinted on it. Here are some other places you are most likely to find paranormal activity:
Cemeteries – Cemeteries represent portals to the next world, and this makes them great places to find ghosts. Orbs, shadow figures, transparent, and solid human forms are commonly found in cemeteries.
In your home or other buildings:
Hallways – I have my own theories about hallways as they also represent a passage from one place to another. In my own experiences, and that of others I know, hallways are a common area for paranormal activity. Here you will likely see apparitions walking and trying to open doors.
Stairways – Another of my own theories, stairways represent a passage from one place to another. In my own experiences, stairways have always been a source of paranormal activity as well. Here, I have seen shadow figures and apparitions walking up and down the stairs.
Doorways- Doorways also represent a passage from one place to another, and many times I have found ghosts to be standing in them.
Churches – Churches can be an excellent place to find paranormal activity, especially old ones.
Schools – Another good source of psychic energy and imprinting can be found in schools.
Hospitals/Nursing Homes – Hospitals deal with death, illness, and near death experience which makes them a great site to look for paranormal activity.
Hotels/Motels – Hotels and motels have been shelter to many people and many older hotels have great ghost stories to tell.
Historical Buildings and Locations – This is just common sense. We have talked about imprinting and these historic locations have definitely been imprinted on.
Mirrors – Lets not forget to check all mirrors, as ghosts will manifest themselves in them. I know of many stories about this phenomenon.
