Last night she woke me up with a text message at 11:30pm.  She was very upset and was crying.  She asked me to come down stairs because it won’t let her sleep.  So, once again, I kissed my husband good night and went down stairs to try and talk her through it all.  When I got down there she was crying, and I asked her why.  She said, that she is not sure why, but she always has to wait for all of her brothers and sister to fall asleep before she can even think about sleeping,  She feels like she has to protect them, and thinks it is because she is the oldest one.  I completely understood how she felt, because this was me when I was her age, except that I have me for a mother and Jason for a father.  We are trying to get her to see that this energy feeds off of fear, and that we need to stay strong, and make it go away.  She was still upset, and I think this not sleeping is finally taking a toll on her, and she just wants to sleep.

Well, now I am getting angry, and I decided to go one further than the circle, and I grabbed the sage, gave her a piece and kept one for myself.  I lit them both and we walked every corner of the house, especially the closet and stairway.  I ordered it to leave and she repeated after me…..and we did this through the whole house.  Then I had her come sleep with me in my room so that we could both get some sleep.  The house seemed to feel better afer the sage, and we were able to sleep.  We will see what happens tonight.

One of the things I have noticed is the negative energy that is felt throughout the house.  Everything about it is negative, and does not feel right at all.  My husband and I are living in the upstairs bedrooms, that are supposed to be our kids rooms.  All four of our children, ages 2 -13 are sleeping downstairs in the master bedroom.  They will not come up to the upstairs bedrooms if they are alone.  My youngest son still sees something in the hallways and stairways, and when he sees it, he sure lets me know.  I have stayed calm when he runs to me, and he now is able to tell it to go away, and he does.  It is the cutest thing. 

The other night I mentioned the negative energy to my husband, and I blamed it on the house.  I told him that we need to get out of here, and that I don’t like it.  Well, the house did not like what I had to say because right then, the glass light cover in the bathroom dropped to the floor and shattered into a hundred pieces.  Luckily, no one was in the bathroom, but it kinda freaked me out, not to mention my kids.  Coincidence?  There are no coincidences.  This was in direct response to what I was talking to my husband about.  I told him we need to stay strong to fight against this negative energy, and that is just what we are doing.  It is really starting to wear on us though, and is now draining our own energy. 

We have continued with the circle, the prayers, and the sage, and I can’t even imagine what it would be like if we did not do these things to help ourselves.  My children are getting better at dealing with the ghosts and everything else, and I have been getting more sleep since the beginning of January.  I just wish I could make it all go away.  I fear that it will not be any better until we move, and Jason and I are working on that every day.

Alcatraz Prison is located in the middle of the San Francisco Bay, on Alcatraz Island.  The water surrounding the island is known for its extremely cold temperatures and strong currents, which made it almost impossible for a prisoner to escape without drowning, and making it an ideal place for a prison.  Construction of the prison began in 1859 and continued through 1912.  In 1933, the Federal Bureau of Prisons, declared Alcatraz a Federal prison that would be home to some of the most hardened and most problematic prisoners in its system.  There were many incidents of suicide, murder, and violence within the walls of Alcatraz, and these incidents resulted in many more residual energy imprints left behind for us to experience.  

Alcatraz Prison is now a museum, and a National Park, and there have been numerous reports of experiences by Park officials as well as visitors.  Silvia Brown, a well known psychic/medium, with her well known Spirit Guide Francine, have also been invited guests of Alcatraz, and a she even performed a seance in an attempt to free some of the souls imprisoned within the walls of Alcatraz today.  Park officials have reported hearing voices and screams in what used to be the Hospital ward.  There have been reports of footsteps, voices, screaming, and crashing sounds coming from both Blocks A and B.  The stressful and traumatic events that took place within the walls of Alcatraz have left intense impressions, some of the worst felt in the area of 14D, where the ”steel boxes” were kept.  These steel boxes deprived a prisoner of almost all of his sensory stimulation, and I can only imagine the traumatic experience that would have been for any length of time.

In 1963 the old prison buildings began to crumble, probably as a result of the weather and elements of the San Francisco Bay, and the prison was closed.  Today, you can take a guided tour of the prison, and walk around the prison grounds.  I hear that the grounds and the views are breathtaking.  I hope that someday I will be able to go back to Alcatraz, visit the museum, or take the guided tour.  Maybe, I could even take a few really good pictures.

I believe with all of my being, that these anomalies are of a spiritual nature, and not just water droplets, dust particles, and insects.  They are the life force energy of people and other living things, or ghosts in the shape of balls of light.  It is said that the orb shape or ball shape takes much less energy to manifest than a full apparition or larger form.  These spirit orbs are found hovering over the heads of family and our pets, and it seems that they increase in number when there is a lot of activity going on, especially celebrations like birthdays and Christmas.  We took photos in our house when there was not much going on, but felt a presence and have gotten orbs in the general area of the the energy we felt.  We have also played with kids, and had a lot of fun putting trimming our tree at Christmas, and found many orbs which appeared to follow us and hover over our heads.  Some even try to get in on group pictures.  Their energy is felt and the pictures are just proof that they are here with us, taking in our positive energy, and enjoying being in our presence.

They are transparent and often have a dark spot or spots in them, and have been known to have what appear to be faces in them.  They are sometimes colorful and can be seen in white, reds, blues, greens, and sometimes are even multicolored.  Sometimes they are even photographed moving quickly through a room or even through doors and walls.  I don’t believe them to be harmful in any way.  We have become so comfortable with our spirits that we welcome them to join us in our activities so that we may take more pictures, and always seem to be there.  We ask them to protect us, and even to guide us at times.  We feel lucky to be so aware of them, and surrounded by so many.

Residual Energy Imprinting – Hauntings, are those hauntings that appear to be like a movie. You can see them, but they don’t seem to be aware of you, they just continue in to play over and over the same scene that caused the imprinting. The more powerful or intense the scene that occurred the greater the chance for the imprinting into the surroundings is imprinted. For instance, the battle at Gettysburg. There have been many sightings of ghosts there, and there is a good chance that if you go there, you WILL see one. It doesn’t have to be a traumatic event either. Some residual hauntings are caused by a person spending so much time in one place. An example would be, a friend of mine who had a little old lady ghost, who carried her groceries through her hallway several times per week, or the ghost at the piano where the player must have spent hours and hours of his time playing.  You are leaving imprints every day in your own homes.  If you ever wondered why it feels so good to sleep in your own bed, well, its not that your mattress is the best in the whole world, its that you spend most of your time in that bed.  You personal energy imprinted in that spot that feels so good when you sleep.

I believe this is what is happening in our family right now. I know that my daughter has a very strong spirit and an energy that is very powerful. Last night she woke up coughing, we are all suffering from allergies right now and hers seems to be worst at the moment. When she got up to get a glass of water and returned to her room she heard the fan light chain click, and then about five minutes later she heard it again. She laid in bed and then heard and saw her little brothers crib shaking. She said it shook for about ten seconds and then just stopped. JC was sound asleep, and didn’t budge. She text me at that time, asking me to come down stairs, and I told her I would be down in a minute. I then received a phone call from her about a minute later saying that she saw something push or kick on Jacobs bed, so I ran down stairs to investigate.

I did not see anything, except that my 11-year-old son had been awakened by something, but he wasn’t sure what it was. I stayed downstairs in the kids room for about fifteen minutes and made a few requests for the ghost to come back another time, because were all tired and did not want to talk now. The kids were able to go back to sleep and I was able to go back upstairs to work and the house was quiet for the rest of the night.

It was a Saturday night and we had all just settled down to bed when I received a text from my daughter who said that she had heard some voices in the kitchen area. She said she also had a strange feeling and would like me to come down stairs. So I went down stairs and she was sitting on her bed. I asked her what was going on and she said she was hearing voices coming from the direction of the kitchen. She then stood up and started walking out into the living areas of the house. She was walking slowly towards the kitchen and as she did this said that they were getting softer and she could barely hear them and then her eyes widened. She was looking towards the bottom of the stairway and when I asked her what she saw she said that she could see a trail of bright light like an aura or like a green colored fairy dust. I looked toward the bottom of the stairs but saw nothing.

She didn’t appear scared and just walked over to the area and as she got to the bottom of the stairway took a high step over something I could not see. I asked her what she was stepping over and she said she didn’t know she stepped over anything. Strange, so I just kept watching her and following her. She started to walk slowly up the stairs and I followed but as we got to the middle of the stairway where it turns she started to get scared. She started walking backward slowly down the stairs and said something was there she could feel it and it was now talking to her but it was not friendly. As we got to the bottom of the stairs she looked a little panicked and wanted to check Jason who was up the stairs sleeping. She was worried that it would try to hurt him. Then she nearly knocked me over trying to get by me and walked across the living room. She turned around and looked like she could barely breathe. She said, “Mom, there it is, its the large green figure…its standing right in front of us just staring at us, I don’t know what it wants.” I kept asking her what it was doing and she kept saying its just standing there, and then she looked past it to the stairs and looked scared again. She said, “there are the other things, the little dark shadows, they are at the bottom of the stairs they are moving fast and now they are by the couch, mom I don’t like those.” I asked her what happened to the figure and she said that he ran to the entryway and was just sitting there like crouching down. I asked where the dark things were and she said, “they keep moving back and forth by the couch and wait! Now they just ran up the stairs! Mom I don’t like those go and check Jason!”….I was pretty freaked out at this point and wasn’t going to leave her. I asked her again where the large figure was and she said, ” he is still by the door but now he is standing…he is walking toward us now…he is behind the couch….he is next to the couch now crouching down or kneeling…he is just sitting there staring at me and then at you….wait, now he is getting up he is standing behind the couch looking at us.” I asked her to ask him what he wanted and as she asked him she held out her hand to him. She said she wasn’t scared. As she got closer to him he started to walk toward the stairs and she said, “he wants us to follow him up the stairs mom.”

Well, neither of us wanted to go upstairs. That was where the dark figures went and those were the ones that scare her most. We did walk over to the stairway and then decided to go back to her room. I asked her if she was okay and she said she was fine. Then, not 10 seconds later she took three breaths in almost like she was hyperventilating. She was standing near to the door of her room and I asked her if she was okay. She started to cry and said, “I don’t know” and then said, “I can’t see you. Where are you mom?” I was confused. I asked her what she meant and she said, ” I can hear you, but I can’t see you…all I see is darkness and some little bright lights….mom…help me.”

I was in disbelief. I thought to myself, what kind of game is she playing here. I was almost angry and then she started to cry and she was shaking. Her eyes looked out of focus and were going back and forth very quickly. I thought to myself what could be happening and it came to me. She said, “It’s so dark mom, and there are more lights now…some are big and some are small it seems like more are coming.” I told her to stay calm and that I wasn’t going to leave her and I walked toward her and her eyes got wide. She said, “mom, there is a big bright light and it is right in front of me.” I told her that the big light was me and that it was my spirit and not to be scared. I told her I was going to touch her touch her hands and I held them in mine and she calmed right down. I told her I would not leave her and to tell me what else she saw. She said,”I am so scared, its so dark, help me get out of here.”

I was still in disbelief and so had to convince myself what was happening was real. The light in her room was on and I looked into her eyes. Her eyes were completely dilated. I grabbed a light and pointed it at her eyes and they were non-responsive. I pretended to point my finger in her eye and she didn’t even blink. She was really in this dark place and I felt a sense of helplessness. I was her mother and I didn’t know how to help her. I just held her hands and watched her.

Then all of a sudden she said, “Mom, I think I see Jake….he is running in place and there is a dog with him.” I told her that what she was seeing made sense. Jake is a dog lover through and through. She then looked towards where the baby slept and said that she could see JC and there were three lights with him. She looked towards me and said that there was my light and two others behind me. She continued like this for about 15 minutes and then she took another three deep breaths in. She started to cry and she held me like she has never held me before in her life. She couldn’t stop crying and said to me, “I can see you! I can see you! I was so scared. I didn’t think I was ever going to get out of there. I never want to be blind, of all things I could be I don’t ever want to be blind.” I just held her and cried with her.

I am not sure exactly what happened that night. I have never experienced anything like this and I can’t find anyone else who can tell what it was. I only know that I never want her to have to go through that again.
