Teens With Psychic Abilities

Posted by scarygeek on February 2, 2010 at 22:41 pm

I have posted many updates about the things that have been happening here in our home with our 13-year-old daughter.  We have seen shadow figures, full apparitions, orbs, and light energies, we have seen fan light chains pulled, and lights go off and on, as well as felt the chill and touch of something in the hallways and stairway of our home.  We have had to burn books, burn sage, chalk each other, and pray with each other to keep us safe from evil entities.  It all seems to center around our daughter.

Tonight, I saw a program that I just caught the tail end of a few times before.  It was called Psychic Kids, and it was actually a pretty good show, other than the fact that it seems to focus on being scared.  The mothers are always very clingy and protective, and it seems like they make the situation way worse than it has to be.

I know that I go down and sit with Sera, but I don’t feed into the fear.  I try to sit with her and understand what is going on, and then talk to her about why it might be happening.  We have tried to talk to them to find out what it is that they want, and we have tried to tell them to go away when we need rest.  For the most part, I think that she has become less afraid, but more frustrated because they don’t seem to want to leave us alone.

A friend of mine suggested that we contact these people, after she read some of our posts.  I have thought about it, and maybe it would be a good experience for her to meet other kids that are going through similar things.  I know that I would have been happy to meet other kids with my abilities when I was growing up.  I had to live and learn through it all alone, my parents did not talk about these things growing up, even though they both experienced similar things.  It wasn’t until I was an adult that I found out about it.  I guess she is lucky to at least have me.

Haunted Places – Alcatraz Prison

Posted by scarygeek on January 11, 2010 at 11:10 am

When I was a child, I had an aunt and uncle that lived in Santa Clara, California.  We often visited them, and when we would, we always went to San Francisco as part of our trip.  My parents liked to take the tour boat that went around Alcatraz, and I remember it like it was yesterday.  I also remember, a very scary helicopter ride over Alcatraz, that turned out to be more fun and interesting than scary.

Alcatraz Prison is located in the middle of the San Francisco Bay, on Alcatraz Island.  The water surrounding the island is known for its extremely cold temperatures and strong currents, which made it almost impossible for a prisoner to escape without drowning, and making it an ideal place for a prison.  Construction of the prison began in 1859 and continued through 1912.  In 1933, the Federal Bureau of Prisons, declared Alcatraz a Federal prison that would be home to some of the most hardened and most problematic prisoners in its system.  There were many incidents of suicide, murder, and violence within the walls of Alcatraz, and these incidents resulted in many more residual energy imprints left behind for us to experience.

Alcatraz Prison is now a museum, and a National Park, and there have been numerous reports of experiences by Park officials as well as visitors.  Silvia Brown, a well known psychic/medium, with her well known Spirit Guide Francine, have also been invited guests of Alcatraz, and a she even performed a seance in an attempt to free some of the souls imprisoned within the walls of Alcatraz today.  Park officials have reported hearing voices and screams in what used to be the Hospital ward.  There have been reports of footsteps, voices, screaming, and crashing sounds coming from both Blocks A and B.  The stressful and traumatic events that took place within the walls of Alcatraz have left intense impressions, some of the worst felt in the area of 14D, where the ”steel boxes” were kept.  These steel boxes deprived a prisoner of almost all of his sensory stimulation, and I can only imagine the traumatic experience that would have been for any length of time.

In 1963 the old prison buildings began to crumble, probably as a result of the weather and elements of the San Francisco Bay, and the prison was closed.  Today, you can take a guided tour of the prison, and walk around the prison grounds.  I hear that the grounds and the views are breathtaking.  I hope that someday I will be able to go back to Alcatraz, visit the museum, or take the guided tour.  Maybe, I could even take a few really good pictures.

Poltergeist – Ghost Update Paranormal Activity

Posted by scarygeek on November 18, 2009 at 02:48 am

Lately there have been no major incidents in the house, but there have been several little things that have happened. Every night the kids are hearing something in the master bathroom which is in the master bedroom where they are all sleeping. They have been hearing someone or something that sounds like someone walking in the bathroom. Then there is pushing on the door. Well, this morning we woke up early and I was cooking breakfast for Jason. While I was cooking I heard someone knocking on what sounded like the window. There were four very loud knocks, not like that of a bird or any small animal, more like someone was trying to get our attention. Sera was in her room and heard it too. She thought there was someone outside and screamed for me. I called for Jason and he came down and checked outside but there was nothing. No evidence that anything was there. Tonight after dinner Jason and I were talking in our rooms upstairs and the kids called for me. They heard one of the chairs in the dinning area move across the floor. I am not sure if all of these things are related but they are starting to wear on all of us. I try to keep calm and tell the kids to do the same but it seems they are still so upset from our previous experiences that they will never be able to relax. At least not in this house.

Hitchhiker Ghosts – Resurrection Mary

Posted by scarygeek on November 17, 2009 at 00:04 am

Ghosts come many different forms. Some manifest themselves as solid human figures that are difficult to pick out of a crowd until they vanish into thin air. Others are transparent, missing limbs, and sometimes only a head is seen. They can also be shadowy figures or mists and vapors swirling around above the ground. I heard a story today about a ghost named Mary who takes on a solid human form and has been mistaken for a hitchhiker.

Resurrection Mary is one of the Chicago’s best known ghosts. There have been reports of experiences with her since the early 1930’s. It is said that a young woman dressed in formal wear wanders Northeast on Archer Avenue, between Willowbrook Ballroom and Resurrection Cemetery. There have been many reports by men traveling on this street  that they have picked up a hitchhiker in a white formal dress. She is blond haired, blue eyed, and quiet, but when they near the cemetery she asks to be let out. Once she enters the cemetery she then vanishes.

The story behind this ghostly encounter is that a young woman who decided to walk home from a dance after an argument with her boyfriend. While walking along the road she was struck by a hit-and-run driver and was left for dead. The driver was never found. Her parents found her dead body the next day and were heartbroken. She was buried in Resurrection Cemetery.

Ghost, Spirit, Entity, Tried to Smother Me in My Bed?

Posted by scarygeek on November 8, 2009 at 17:20 pm

Sometimes when I go to sleep at night I don’t always feel alone. Yeah, I know that my husband is there but sometimes there is something else. It is a strange feeling that someone is watching and standing so close you can feel it. Like when a stranger stands in your space. Well, one night when I lived in California I had this feeling. It would not go away and I was having trouble falling to sleep. I laid there for about twenty minutes and then I saw it. There was this small dark shadow figure that came from the doorway. It traveled pretty quickly and was up on my bed in an instant. Before I could do anything it was on my chest. At that point it started to grow and was wrapped around my neck and just about to cover my face. I used what protective spells I knew at the time and as I started to feel like I couldn’t breathe it unwrapped itself and went away is quickly as it came. I woke that man who was my husband at the time and I told him what happened, and he said that he had just had a bad dream about a large rat on the bed.

This was one of three experiences of this kind that I would have in this house. Both the second and third time that this happened I did not see it until it was already on my chest and woke me from sleep. Luckily I am a very light sleeper. I started using my paint rock for protection which seemed work because I have not had a problem.
